Antifungal Foot Cream Fungent: How To Use

Fungent applied to the affected area
  • Wash your feet and dry them. You can do a foot bath, and the skin will become more receptive to the ingredients of the cream.
  • Before using the cream, it is best to remove dead skin and nail debris from the affected area. Snip off the scale and broken plate layers with sterilized scissors or forceps.
  • The cream is suitable only for completely dry skin, since excess moisture prevents the components of the composition from penetrating deeper into the affected area. Fungent has a light consistency, but is very greasy, so it distributes the ingredients easily.
  • 1 drop is enough to completely cover an area of 7 cm2. When applying, it is necessary to capture the healthy area of skin surrounding the fungus to prevent it from spreading further.
  • Don't use a lot of cream. First, it forms the thinnest film on the surface, preventing the substance from evaporating and protecting the site of application from moisture and perspiration. Second, the same film simply does not allow the ingredients to penetrate further into the deeper layers of the dermis.
  • The cream gets absorbed quickly, takes 5-6 minutes. Socks are not recommended afterwards to avoid sweaty feet and create a favorable breeding ground for the fungus.

Fungal diseases are difficult to treat, so immediate results cannot be expected. The recommended duration of treatment is 30 days. If you plan to extend your courses, you should take 7-14 days break between them. This is done to allow the body to clean itself of toxic substances that have emerged due to the vital activity of the fungus. 15 days is enough for prevention. This is enough to start the regeneration process and protect the skin cells in the future.
